Compensation:
$60,000+
Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
Conduct legal research to support attorneys in case preparation
Heavy emphasis on strategizing with attorneys, attention to detail and treating each case uniquely in order to develop necessary evidence to maximize claim value
Strong oral and written communication skills coupled with the ability to think on your feet.
Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and meetings
Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court personnel to assist in case management
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal
Candidate MUST have significant litigation experience prosecuting or defending personal injury cases
Proficiency in legal research and writing
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with e-discovery software
