Under general supervision, incumbent is responsible for processing new, renewed and modified non-complex and various real estate secured loan requests.
Position will be responsible for comparing approved loan requests against loan documentation provided and determine if documentation represents approved terms.
Position will be responsible for working with lending staff to resolve or clarify any possible deficiencies in loan packages for boarding.
Responsibilities
Review non-complex loan request to prepare for loan boarding to system
Non-complex loans are identified as all consumer and commercial non-real estate secured loans and consumer/commercial real estate secured transactions; all either in-house prepared via LaserPro or outside counsel prepared
Review loan approval for verification of appropriate lending authority as well as rate and structure meet loan policy
Review all loan documents provided ensuring receipt of critical documents including but not limited to: promissory note, security agreement (if applicable), deed of trust or modification agreement (if applicable) and guaranties (if applicable); verify all documents have been signed by all required parties and notarized (if applicable)
Verify terms on promissory note match terms approved on loan approval
Verify and review security documents
Review loan package to determine if loan funding has been processed and copies included with boarding package
Review general ledger tickets to ensure fees have been appropriately credited to the correct general ledger accounts
If loan to be funded by Loan Operations, fund loan proceeds into identified customer account, issue cashier’s check, prepare and send wire
Board loan data into Xperience Silverlake (core)
Organize loan package to maximize accuracy of input into core
Review loan coding provided in loan approval against loan document package using Coding resource document as a guide; correct as needed
Input loan into core by selecting appropriate Loan Type or via LaserPro interface; completing all required data including but not limited to: note date, terms, interest rate and loan amount
Add Collateral Tracking records as needed in core based on collateral securing loan
Enter FASB Cost record for all loan types using FASB Cost record resource guide for both new and renewed loans
Enter FASB Fee record if a loan origination fee has been collected using FASB Fee record resource guide
Assist in monitoring and assigning loan boarding requests sent to central mailbox
Review loan boarding requests as they are received; identify appropriate processor assignment based on complexity of loan
Provide excellent customer service to lending staff and co-workers
Provide timely and accurate service in order to meet funding and booking deadlines
Assist co-workers with answering inquiries from lending staff

Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent education certificate (GED) required AND
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with consumer and commercial loan documentation
Minimum of 2 years loan funding experience
OR Bachelor’s degree AND
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with consumer and commercial loan documentation
Minimum of 1 year loan funding experience
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (e.
g.
create new documents, edit existing files, create tables, sort/filter data, print documents, generate new records, email and calendaring)
Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
Strong attention to detail and able to take direction
Must have ability to prioritize a variety of tasks, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
Ability to interpret and apply laws and regulations
