Are there any that host with full band around these cities/outlying areas anymore?
It would be great to find some again.
I can imagine all the reasons they're gone.
But it would be great to find others (perhaps those that need a break from the every weekend-gig or more grind) that not only play well, but just want to get together and play in a band setting and exchange ideas in a non-commital type setting.
I know this can work, cause' I've been part of these off and on through the years.

Like most music lovers that also play, been at it for many years, many styles of music.
Still love to play and enjoy the learning process.
It's all a labor of love and endless skills improvement.
Travel and location not a problem for me as long as it's no more than 100mi from the DFW Metro.
Unfortunately, I cannot provide a practice space at my house.
I want a place where people can play above whisper volume, and not always having to be worried about disturbing the peace complaints.
Unfortunately my subdivision does not provide such as houses are very close proximity.
I'm not averse to procuring for a pay-for practice space for the "right" situation.
Believe me, I empathize with how dreadful it can be to find people on CL for something like this (herding cats), but I know they're out there.

I've run across phenominal players this way when I least expected to find them.
Despite all the struggles of the world and crazy times, I know there are still good people out there.
