Located in Denton, Texas, our 208-bed full-service hospital offers a comprehensive range of healthcare services, including advanced open-heart surgery and trauma programs.

Position Summary: The Emergency Room Registered Nurse is entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment for both the recipients and providers of nursing care.
This role involves:
Promoting a safe and therapeutic environment
Acquiring specialized knowledge and skills through additional education
Demonstrating competence in nursing practice
Adhering to policies, procedures, and standards of the facility
Supervising designated staff within the department
Qualifications:
Licensed RN by the State of Texas or compact state
BSN required
1 year of emergency room acute care experience required
BLS required.
Specialty certification encouraged
For candidates with an ADN but no BSN, a tuition-free ADN to BSN program is available, which takes approximately a year to complete online.
Special Notes:
Preferred backgrounds: Emergency medicine.
In certain circumstances, a strong ICU background may be considered.
A lack of TNCC is a flag indicating potential unsuitability for this role.
Experience in Level II or I trauma is ideal, but Level 3 or 4 may be considered if necessary.
