com Under the direction of the TMC Chief Executive Officer, this position is responsible to develop, organize, plan direct and supervise all initiatives of the Quality Assurance department including the Performance Improvement/Clinical Effectiveness Program.
Work closely with Administration and TMC Market leadership to develop and maintain a comprehensive performance improvement and patient safety program for TMC.
Responsible for personnel management, resource allocation and control.
Assume direction of participation in special projects as needed.
Coordinate compliance with state and federal regulations.
Develop strategies, facilitates and supports interdisciplinary teams to improve and redesign operational and administrative processes critical to safe, high quality, efficient patient and family centered care.
Primary consultant resource for process improvement.
Lead, develop tools, train and assist in selecting, managing, evaluating, sustaining and communicating outcomes of strategic process improvement projects.
Ensure integration of clinical performance improvement, analyze and present healthcare data, develop areas of opportunity and lead efforts in improvement, core measures and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications: MSN required.
Minimum of five (5) years required working as an RN in an acute care hospital, with experience in a high volume healthcare organization strongly preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years of management experience.
Comprehensive knowledge of inpatient/outpatient quality measurement, quality reporting, reimbursement/payment and penalty programs.
Current Texas RN License.
Additional training in data management, project management or Six Sigma, CPHQ required.
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
Proficient computer skills (keyboarding and Microsoft Office Suite) as well as experience with project management and data analysis software programs.
Action and results oriented with ability to understand, interpret and communicate complex subject matter.
Ability to problem solve, utilize critical thinking skills and continually improve processes for better patient outcomes.
Customer service focused with ability to positively interact with and work well with others, facilitate sharing ideas, develop strategies and plans, implement changes and monitor results.
