Preschool Teacher Job Responsibilities:
Build genuine relationships with each child
Plan and implement daily lessons for the children following a progressive approach to education
Observe and evaluate each child’s progress and maintain portfolio assessments.
Draw on each child’s unique strengths to help them learn about the world around them.
Support each child’s developmental needs, including toilet training
Ensures the safety and well-being of all students
Responsible for maintaining a sanitary environment for the children
Maintain communication with parents
Be available for parent conferences
Work cooperatively and professionally with staff members and parents
Attend staff meetings, training, and school functions
Commit to continuing education

Preschool Teacher Job Requirements
Priority given to those with a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, or have their education degree within the first year of employment.
Previous experience at a public, private or licensed school preferred.
A desire to be part of progressive community focused around lifelong learning and advocacy for Early Childhood Education.
