Assistant Infant Teacher

Lil Kidz Academy is looking for a passionate assistant infant room teacher, who is responsible for the care and education of infants at our school! In this position, you will create a safe and nurturing environment for infants to learn and grow, while maintaining excellent communication with parents, as well as the lead teacher.
You are expected to follow all state guidelines as well as create a stimulating environment with the lead teacher for the infants.

This includes: - Small teacher to child ratios - Flexible schedules - Administration always in the building - Weekly pay - Supportive and caring team - Yearly trainings - Continued training if desired Duties you must be able to achieve to be able to thrive in this position - Attend to the physical and emotional needs of infants, including feeding, diapering, and comforting - Observe and document developmental progress with lead teacher, and parents regularly - Maintain a clean and organized classroom - Follow all state and federal regulations regarding infant care and safety - Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, as well as bending/picking up.
- Must be able to not be on your phone, as this is a major safety concern.
Qualifications: - Must be 18 years old - Maintain a high school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience working with infants - Ability to communicate effectively with team as well as parents - Patience and ability to handle high-stress situations occasionally - CPR certified - Experience working in a licensed childcare center This is an excellent position for retirees' or empty nesters! We are looking for someone that is punctual and dependable.
We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, and someone passionate about children! You will work aside a lead teacher who has over 20 year experience caring for babies! Job Type: Full-time Pay: $10.
