2003 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer (Many New Parts) - $3,000 (Ravenna)

I would prefer to keep this car because of how fun it is to drive.
The kids especially like that their windows roll down.
But it is time to let it go to someone else who needs it.
This edition has the V8 engine in the light body of small truck V6s.
It drives well and remains very zippy.
Overview: Timely oil changes.
New AC works great No CHECK ENGINE lights or other problem indicators.
Tires probably have another 10k miles.
I have had them rotated at each oil change.
My mechanic (Joe’s Car Care in Leonard, TX) said the engine is in good condition.
I have asked two or three times if I should replace the engine.
On one of the repairs below, when he had access to the cylinders, he told me that the cylinders are a clean gold color which indicates that the oil changes have been timely and that the engine is in good shape.
Third row floods down for extra cargo space.

This model does have the mini hatch that opens in addition to the big, main hatch.
We always found the mini hatch very handy.
