*Key Responsibilities*
The Senior Accountant will be overseeing accounting operations, assisting in driving the month-end close process.
The activities include but are not limited to processing financial statements, verifying financial records and transactions.
This will include creating and reviewing needed schedules related to month-end close and reconciling items such as bank account statements, AR balance, AP balance, intercompany account balances.
The Senior Accountant will also be integral in the annual audit.

Reporting to the Controller, you will have the following day-to-day responsibilities:
* Prepare monthly journal entries by compiling relevant data with supporting documentation in accordance with GAAP.
* Review monthly accruals for accuracy and record the applicable journal entries and research accounting transactions and ensure necessary corrections and adjustments are made.
* Lead month-end close process and preparation of internal financial statements.
* Prepare monthly account reconciliation for related balance sheet accounts with detailed support schedules, take appropriate action to clear the reconciling items, and work with business units to prepare adjustment to specific accounts.
* Assist with audit preparation and coordination for external auditors and tax requests.
* Support the Accounting Manager and Controller with the implementation of ongoing development of company’s internal controls and maintain best practice accounting processes.
* Perform full cycle accounts receivable and accounts payable, including preparation of monthly invoices, seeking out appropriate approvals, coding revenue and expenses into NetSuite and maintaining customer and vendor records for account reconciliation purposes.
* Prepare Form 1099 for all eligible vendors and file appropriate reports with the IRS.
* Hybrid role with requirements to be onsite regularly.
*Qualifications*
Working closely with the team, the Senior Accountant will meet the following requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from a four-year college or university.
* 2-3 years of accounting related experience and/or training.
* Strong understanding of US GAAP.
* Competency with Microsoft Suite, NetSuite, SQL.
* CPA or CPA candidate (preferred but not required).
* Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
* Detail-oriented with superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
